"Grades are not a valid assessment of learning. Learning, to be validated, must be demonstrated. If you can demonstrate what you have learned, then you have learned. If you can't, you're not finished yet." From Inevitable Charles Schwahn and Beatrice McGarvey

Things to Keep in Mind When Looking at the Assessments and Rubrics...

  • Don't just use an assessment or rubric to use it. Download it and tweak it to make it work for you and your instruction.

  • Look at each assessment and/or rubric with a critical eye. These definitely aren't perfect, but could help you get started.

  • Understand the assessment and rubric yourself! Do it yourself and see how well it fits the needs of your instruction.

  • Keep sharing! If you have more, please send them our way!!
